Satir started in 1994 out of a garage on the 2300 block of Wallace, doing radiator work for neighbors who'd been told their steam heat was finished. Word moved down Fairmount Avenue the way it does here — one house at a time, usually over a fence.
Three decades later we're still on Wallace Street, still two vans, still the same family. We've repiped most of the 2200 and 2300 blocks at this point, some of them twice. We know which houses have the clay sewer laterals that root every spring, which ones have the undersized gas line to the kitchen, and which landlords actually fix things.
We're licensed and insured in the City of Philadelphia, we pull permits when the work needs them, and we'll tell you when a job isn't worth doing. If your water heater has two good years left in it, we'll say so and come back in two years.
